Welcome
to AircraftWorldDirectory.com where you will find lots of information on
the world's civil and military aircraft. The site is based on my
book, "The World's Civil Aircraft".
In here you will find
information on all the models of the world's aircraft manufacturers such as
Airbus, Beech, Boeing, Cessna, Cirrus, Embraer, Piper and all other manufacturers
whose designs remain airworthy.
Some well known types which have ceased
flying in recent years, such as Concorde, have been included for
topicality. The
site includes major and minor manufacturers worldwide and includes all
powered aircraft regardless of when they made their first flight. Unpowered gliders will be included as the site expands.
Visitors to my site are welcome to send me details
and illustrations of any type which I may have overlooked,
including one-off designs and unusual homebuilts. Colour or black and
white photographs for the Photograph of the Week can be
e-mailed to me.
The mystery aircraft shown above has finally
been identified by Walter van Tilborg as the McMorran JP-4 Summit built
in 1984 in Manitoba, Canada.
