AASI (Advanced Aerodynamics and Structures
Inc.) is a California based company currently engaged in the manufacture
of one of the latest designs for business class aircraft. The Jetcruzer
500 is a pressurized version of the earlier Model 450. In 2002 AASI
acquired the Mooney Aircraft Company and will continue to manufacture
the Mooney line under the new company group name of Mooney Aerospace
Group Ltd. The Jetcruzer 500 program had lapsed by 2004 but there is
hope that it may be resuscitated based on strong interest in the
project.
