The original Corben Baby Ace , Junior Ace and Super Ace light aircraft
were designed by Orlan G. Corben in the early 1930’s and a large number
of these types were built from plans supplied by the Corben Sport Plane
Company of Madison, Wisconsin. In 1954, Paul Poberezny, the founder of
the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), acquired the rights to
these early designs. Today the Ace Aircraft Company of Georgia continues
to market plans for the Baby Ace which remains an extremely popular
homebuilt project.
