The AEA (Aeronautical Engineers Australia) Explorer 350R is the
proof-of-concept aircraft for the Explorer family and is offered as the
entry level model. AEA was founded by Graham Swannell in 1979 and has a
wealth of experience in aircraft design. The company was purchased by
Explorer Aircraft Inc. of Jasper, Texas in 2001 and continues to offer
the 350R as well as the Explorer 500T which has 11 seats and can be
powered by a 600hp(446kW) Orenda OE600A or P&W PT6A.
