Aerocar Model 1 Aerocar

Designed by Moulton Taylor, who was also responsible for the Mini-Imp, the Aerocar was envisaged as a vehicle which could fulfill the dual role of motor car and aircraft. An example of the slightly improved Model 111 Aerocar was also built before 1969, by which time the whole concept had become impractical. A few Aerocars are still current on the US register.
