Designed by Moulton Taylor, who was also responsible for the Mini-Imp,
the Aerocar was envisaged as a vehicle which could fulfill the dual role
of motor car and aircraft. An example of the slightly improved Model 111
Aerocar was also built before 1969, by which time the whole concept had
become impractical. A few Aerocars are still current on the US register.
