The Model 560 introduced increased power as well as a swept fin. It was
a larger and heavier aircraft with a strengthened structure and was
produced in a number of variants. The Model 560A (99 built) introduced a
greater fuel capacity.The 560E (93 built) first flew in 1956 and had the
wingspan increased to 49’6”(15.08m) and had improved engine nacelles.
First flown in 1960 the Model 560F (73 built) had 2x 350hp(261kW)
Lycomings and a maximum take-off weight of 7500lb(3405kg).A lighter 4
seat version of the 560E was built in prototype form as the Model 360
but was not proceeded with. Examples of the 560 series can still be seen
in various parts of the world with about 30 Model 560: 40 Model 560A; 30
Model 560E; and 30 Model 560F aircraft still active.
