The Comp Air 10 is based on the Comp Air 6 and differs from the earlier
models in having twin fins. It has a fixed tricycle undercarriage but
can also be flown on floats, as shown below. The Aerocomp line of
aircraft can be traced back to 1993 when the company decided to design
floats for homebuilt aircraft. A natural progression was then to design
a kit built aircraft for the floats, the first design being the Comp
Monster. The primary aims throughout the Comp Air designs have been
economy and simplicity and these concepts have allowed the company to
present an impressive range of home-built aircraft to the public.
