The impressive Comp Air 7T is the turboprop version of the Comp Air 7
and this type is proving to be extremely popular with home builders. It
is available with a tricycle or tailwheel undercarriage. Jerry Rodgers
of California modified a Comp Air 7T with the installation of a 724shp
(538kW) Walter turbine driving a 5-bladed 8’ (2.43m) diameter propeller.
This aircraft, first flown in 2000, is designated Rodgers JR.7.
