The first jet design by Aerocomp the Comp Air Jet is sold as a kit
although builders must construct their aircraft at a specially equipped
building centre near Aerocomp’s headquarters on Merritt Island, Florida.
It is aimed at the private and small business pilot. Initial tests were
carried out with the 3800lb.s.t. Ivchenko Progress AI-25TL. Aerocomp
changed its name in 2006 to Comp Air Inc.
