Aeronca K Scout


 

The side by side two seat Model K was the successor to the Aeronca C-3 “Flying Bathtub”. It was a more modern design and was available as the Model KC with a 40hp Continental; the Model KCA with a 50hp(37kW) Continental; the Model KF with a 50hp Franklin and the Model KM with a 50hp Menasco. Production ended in June 1939 and around 30 remain of which a sizeable number are airworthy.
