The Aeronca L series was introduced in 1934 with the Aeronca LA (12
built) powered by a 70hp (52kW) Le Blond. Unfortunately not one example
of the Model LA is extant. Following on from the Model LB was the
Aeronca LC (25 built) of 1936 powered by a 90hp (67kW) Warner. It is
believed that only one example each of the Model LB and LC are currently
airworthy.
