Aerospatiale SA360C Dauphin

The SA360C was developed as a replacement for the earlier SA316B Alouette 111. A more powerful version was the SA361 which first flew in 1976 powered by a 1400shp (1043kW) Turbomeca. Although it failed to replace the Alouette 111 in the market it was the progenitor of the more successful twin engined Dauphins. A small number are still airworthy.
