The SA365F was developed as a military
variant of the AS365N. Its roles included Search and Rescue, Fishery
Surveillance and anti-ship weapons platform. Eight were operated by the
French Navy and twenty were delivered to the Royal Saudi Air Force. Five
were delivered to the Irish Air Corps in 1986 as the SA365F2 equipped
with Bendix RDR L500 search radar. An ex-Irish Air Corps example
is shown below.
