Plans and parts for the all-metal Aerosport Scamp A are available from
Aerosport Ltd. of Holly Springs, North Carolina. This simple design
features braced biplane wings and a braced T-tail. The Aerosport Scamp B
was an agricultural version which was assembled in Colombia by
Agricopteros from 1977. It was slightly larger with a wingspan of
19’6”(5.94m) and a maximum take-off weight of 945lb(429kg). Powered by a
100hp(74kW) Revmaster it had a range of 550miles(884km). The Scamp has a
limited aerobatic capability and examples have been built in Australia,
New Zealand and several European countries as well as in North America.
