Airbus Industrie A340-600


Designed as the only competitor to the Boeing 747-400, the A340-600 entered revenue service with Virgin Atlantic on August 1 2002 with an inaugral flight from London Heathrow to JFK in New York. It is the longest commercial airliner in the world.
