Airbus Industrie A340-500

The Airbus A330/A340 series of aircraft is based on a single basic airframe which can be lengthened and which, in combination with a two or four engine layout, gives operating variables of passenger load and range. The latest version, the A340-500 is the longest range variant as well as the longest range airliner in the world. 278+ A340’s of all models have been built.
