Developed from the earlier single seat G-200, the G-202 aerobatic
aircraft was supplied in kit form by AkroTech Aviation Inc. and
subsequently developed as the CAP 222. Richard Giles was also involved
in the design of the Giles G-300 single seat unlimited class aerobatic
aircraft which first flew in 1997. It is powered by a 350hp(260kW)
Lycoming IO-540 and is used by the US aerobatic team.
