American Airmotive modified more than 200 Stearman 75’s for cropdusting.
The fuselage was strengthened, metal wings fitted and and dispersal
equipment added to produce a relatively cheap agricultural aircraft.
Kits were made available for in field conversions. Quite a few remain
active although none are used for crop dusting.
