The John Doe was designed by Steve Nusbaum and is supplied in kit form by American Homebuilts of Hebron, Illinois. It has a STOL capability and features interchangeable flaps and ailerons as well as rudder and elevators. The John Doe has been developed as the Nusbaum Vaquero, powered by a 120hp(89kW) LOM-132-A.
