The American Legend
Aircraft Co. of Sulphur Springs, Texas designed the Legend Cub to
conform to the new LSA (Light Sport Aircraft) legislation. It is a full
scale replica of the Piper J-3C Cub although no parts are
interchangeable between the two designs. The cockpit of the Legend Cub
is 3” wider than the original Cub. The model AL11C-100 is a closed cowl
version and the Legend FloatCub is fitted with Baumann floats.
