The Kingfisher was designed by Earl Anderson who was a retired Boeing
747 captain. Rights to the design were acquired by Warner Aviation Inc.
of Louisiana who supplied plans for this homebuilt. Subsequently Wings
Unlimited of North Carolina began marketing the aircraft as the Wings
Unlimited Kingfisher. A version powered by a 150hp(112kW) Lycoming is
known as the Super Kingfisher.
