Plans for the attractive Bearhawk four seat utility aircraft were
originally available from the R & B Aircraft Company of Virginia. Since
2002 kits have become available from Avipro Aircraft Ltd. of Austin,
Texas. The Bearhawk was designed by Bob Barrows and is a rugged
bushplane design with a large cargo door. The 260hp(193kW) Lycoming
O-540 can also be installed which gives a cruising speed of
160mph(256kmh).
