The Ayres Turbo Thrush 660 is the Ayres S2R-T65 with a 660 gallon
hopper. This powerful aircraft was also used by the US State Department
in a drugs eradication programme as the NEDS (Narcotics Eradication
Delivery System). 9 of these aircraft were delivered between 1983 and
1985. An armed version was designated Ayres V-1A Vigilante (1 built).
