The Canadair Regional Jet is a stretched version of
the Challenger, incorporating a new wing and undercarriage as well as
greater fuel capacity. The Series 100 is available as the CRJ 100ER
(Extra Range) and CRJ 100LR (Long Range), each version having more fuel
capacity. The Series 200 first flew in 1995 and is powered by a more
fuel efficient version of the existing engine.
