Caproni Vizzola Calif A-21SJ

Designed by Carlo Ferrarin and Livio Sonzio, the Calif A-21SJ is a powered version of the Calif gliders which had been built by Caproni Vizzola since 1969. It has a small turbojet in the upper fuselage, a reinforced main spar and larger wheels. One remains active as does an example of the Caproni-Vizzola C22J two seat jet trainer first flown in 1980 powered by a 326lb.s.t. (1.45kN) Microturbo TRS.
