Designed by Ernie Carlson as a simple, easy to build ultralight, the Sparrow has become extremely popular among homebuilders, especially in the United States. The Sparrow has an all-metal fuselage and wing structure. Kits are still available from Carlson Aircraft of East Palestine, Ohio.
