CASA C.212 Aviocar Srs. 100

The CASA C.212 Series 100 utility STOL transport was designed as a replacement for the Spanish Air Force’s mixed fleet of outdated transport aircraft. Of the total built, 29 were constructed by IPTN (Nurtanio) in Indonesia. About half of those built were the military version, the C.212 Series 100M. Examples served with Spain, Portugal, Jordan and Indonesia. Production of the Series 100 Aviocar ended in 1978 with the introduction of the Series 200. A small number remain operational in civil markings.
