Caudron C.275 Luciole

The prolific Luciole series began in 1930 with the C.230 and ended with the C.278. These light touring biplanes were used by French flying clubs in the inter-war years and some were used as glider tugs. During World War 11 a number were used as liaison aircraft. A total of 725 of all versions were built and a number remain airworthy today, including examples of the C.270 (82 built) powered by a 95hp(71kW) Salmson and the C.275. The C.277 was powered by a 120hp (89kw) Renault 4Pdi.
