The attractive Simoun series originated with the
C.630 (20 built) of 1934. The C.635 was the civil version of the C.635M
of which about 480 were built for the French military as navigation
trainers and liaison aircraft. Prior to World War 11 a number were used
on air mail services within France. At least one remains airworthy.
