The Cyclone lightweight fighter series began with the
C.710 ( 2 built) which first flew in 1936 and which had a fixed
undercarriage. This was followed by the C.713 ( 1 built) which
introduced a retractable undercarriage, and was followed by the
production version, the C.714 (90 built) which first flew in 1938. The
C.760 was a higher powered version, only the prototype of which was
built. A replica of this aircraft is active in France.
