CEA DR.315 Petit Prince


The DR.315 was a tricycle undercarriage version of the earlier DR.221. Other developments were the DR.340 Major which also made its first flight in 1968 powered by a 140hp(104kW) Lycoming O-320-E2A. It had the same dimensions as the DR.315, an empty weight of 1189lb(540kg), maximum take-off weight of 2203lb(1000kg), range of 641miles(1030km) and a cruising speed of 158mph(254kmh). The four seat DR.360 Chevalier made its first flight in 1968 powered by a 160hp(119kW) Lycoming O-320-D2A. Its dimensions were the same as the DR.315 and weights the same as the DR.340. It had a range of 679 miles(1090km) and a cruising speed of 162mph (260kmh).
