The Model 150M (3624 built) introduced a taller fin
and was built in France as the Reims Cessna F.150M (285 built). The
Model A150 Aerobat (734 built) first flew in 1969 and was an aerobatic
version with a strengthened airframe. It was available as the A150K/L
and M. The French built equivalents were the Reims Cessna FA150K Aerobat
(81 built) and the Reims Cessna FA150L Aerobat (39 built). The FRA150L
Aerobat (141 built) was a higher powered version of the Model FA150L
with a 130hp(97kW) Continental. Similarly the FRA150M Aerobat (75 built)
was a higher powered version of the Model FA150M Aerobat. The later
versions of the Cessna 150 were available in three standards; the Model
150 Standard, Model 150 Commuter and Model 150 Commuter 11. They
differed in the amount of avionics and equipment installed. Many
thousands of these later Model 150’s are airworthy worldwide and a few
were adapted to floatplane configuration. Illustrated below is a Cessna
150H Floatplane.
