Cessna 150F


The Model 150F introduced a swept fin and larger cabin doors. It was built by Reims Aviation in France as the Reims Cessna F.150F (67 built). The Model 150G (2666 built) featured a wider cabin interior and was also built in France as the Reims Cessna F.150G (152 built). The Model 150H (2110 built) had minor improvements and was built in France as the Reims Cessna F.150H (170 built). The Model 150J (1820 built) had minor cosmetic improvements and a new instrument panel, and was produced in France as the Reims Cessna F.150J (140 built). The Model 150K (875 built) had cambered wingtips and was built in France as the Reims Cessna F.150K (129 built). The Model 150L (3778 built) introduced an enlarged fin fairing and redesigned engine cowling. It was built in France as the Reims Cessna F.150L (485 built) and in Argentina as the DINFIA Cessna A-150L (39 built).

The Model 150M (3624 built) introduced a taller fin and was built in France as the Reims Cessna F.150M (285 built). The Model A150 Aerobat (734 built) first flew in 1969 and was an aerobatic version with a strengthened airframe. It was available as the A150K/L and M. The French built equivalents were the Reims Cessna FA150K Aerobat (81 built) and the Reims Cessna FA150L Aerobat (39 built). The FRA150L Aerobat (141 built) was a higher powered version of the Model FA150L with a 130hp(97kW) Continental. Similarly the FRA150M Aerobat (75 built) was a higher powered version of the Model FA150M Aerobat. The later versions of the Cessna 150 were available in three standards; the Model 150 Standard, Model 150 Commuter and Model 150 Commuter 11. They differed in the amount of avionics and equipment installed. Many thousands of these later Model 150’s are airworthy worldwide and a few were adapted to floatplane configuration.
