A higher powered version of the 1955 Model
172 , the Model 175 had a number of improvements including a free blown
windscreen and redesigned engine cowlings. The Model 175A Skylark (539
built) was a deluxe version featuring a swept fin like the Cessna 172A.
The Model 175B Skylark (225 built) and Model 175C Skylark (117 built)
were equivalent higher powered versions of the Models 172B and C
respectively. Production ended in 1963 and a healthy number of these
models are still airworthy. A Cessna 175 is illustrated below.
