Dassault MD.312 Flamant

Avions Marcel Dassault was formed in 1945 from the old Bloch company. The Flamant was built in several variants for both the Armee de L’Air and the Aeronautique Navale. The MD-311 (39 built) was a bombing and navigation trainer; the MD-315 (137 built) was a light utility transport. Some Flamants saw active service as ground attack aircraft in Algeria and French Indochina. They were retired from military service in 1983 and a small number are now flown in civil markings in France.
