Davis Starship Alpha

Originally known as the Davis Wing DX-1, the Starship Alpha was designed by Gilbert E. Davis and although kits were offered to homebuilders it is believed that only the prototype was built and this is maintained in airworthy condition. It is of sweptback flying wing configuration with the engine installed behind the cockpit. It has since been re-engined with a Kawasaki engine.
