de Havilland Canada Dash 8 Srs. 100

Designed in response to a demand for an economic 40 seat short range transport, the Dash 8 Series 100 was the beginning of a family of regional airliners. The Series 100 first entered service in 1984 with norOntario of Canada. The Series 100A was introduced in 1990 with interior changes including extra headroom and was followed by the Series 100B in 1992 which was powered by 2X 2150shp(1605kW) Pratt & Whitney PW121’s and had a maximum take-off weight of 36,300lb(16,465kg). This model was superseded in 1995 by the Series 200 which has additional take-off power thanks to the 2150shp(1605kW) P&W 123C’s and superior payload/range capability.
