The F.19 was developed from the Stinson SM-6B
Detroiter by Elmer Faucett for operations by his airline, Compania de
Aviacion Faucett. The first two examples were converted from the earlier
Stinson SM-1. The conversion included an enlarged cabin and redesigned
undercarriage. The only example flying was rebuilt around 2001.
