Mike Fisher began designing ultralight aircraft in
1978 and the FP-101 was the first to be marketed as a kit. Fisher Flying
Services was formed for this purpose and subsequently marketed his other
designs up to and including the Model FP-606. This company was sold in
1989 and Mr. Fisher formed the Fisher Aero Corporation to sell kits for
the Celebrity, Avenger, Horizon and Youngster. This company was then
sold to Fisher Flying Products in 1997. Mike Fisher has since
concentrated on building full size WACO replicas.
