The Stieglitz was an aerobatic trainer used by both
the military and civil flying clubs in Germany before World War 11. It
was built in a number of variants with only minor differences and was
operated by the Luftwaffe until the end of the war. It was built under
licence in Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria and Sweden. A handful
remain airworthy.
