Fokker E-III Replica

The Fokker E-III, also known as the Eindecker (Monoplane), was an important German fighter in the early stages of World War 1 and enjoyed a certain amount of superiority until early 1916 when it was overtaken by more efficient designs. A number of replica aircraft were built for the film "The Blue Max" which was filmed in 1966 and starred James Mason. The replica shown below was built in the USA.
