The Series 500 is a stretched version of the
Series 200 and a large proportion of those built remain airworthy. The
last version to be produced was the Series 600 which was based on the
fuselage of the Series 200 with the addition of an extra cargo door.
Production of the F.27 series ended in 1986, giving way to the Fokker
50.
