The Foster Wickner Aircraft Co. Ltd. was formed in
1937 at Eastleigh, Southampton, England by Geoffrey Wickner. The
company’s sole product was the Wicko which was used for private flying
just prior to World War 11. All privately owned Wickos were impressed by
the RAF in 1941 and only two survived the war. Mr. Joe Dible purchased
the sole survivor in 1998 and it made its first post-restoration flight
in September 2005.
