McDonnell Douglas MD-90


The MD-90 is a stretched version of the MD-80 series and first entered service in 1995 with Delta Air Lines. The standard version is the MD-90-30 but it is also available as the MD-90-30ER, an extended range version with an auxiliary fuel tank allowing for a range of 2749miles(4425km) and which entered service with AMC Aviation of Egypt in 1997. The MD-90-50 is a longer range version which offered a range of 3479miles (5600km) and a maximum take-off weight of 172,500lb(78,245kg). The MD-90-55 has an extra pair of doors in the forward fuselage to allow a maximum of 187 charter class seats.
