The Kittiwake was designed by C.Mitchell and R. and
A. Proctor and plans and kits were available to homebuilders through
Proctor Aircraft Associates. One example of the Kittiwake 11 was first
flown in 1978. This was a two seater powered by a 130hp(97kW)
Continental and with a maximum take-off weight of 1600lb(726kg). At
least one Kittiwake 1 is maintained in flying condition.
