The Neiva Paulistinha was a more powerful version of
the CAP-4 Paulistinha and was built in several versions including the
Paulistinha 56B powered by a 100hp(74kW) Lycoming and the Paulistinha
56D powered by a 150hp (112kW) Lycoming. The type served with the
Brazilian Air Force in small numbers and was otherwise used by flying
clubs, as a glider tug or as an agricultural aircraft. Several remain
active in Brazil and other South American countries. The Neiva Campeiro
(20 built) was a development of the Paulistinha 56B powered by a
150hp(112kW) Lycoming O-320-A. It was operated by the Brazilian
military.
