Noin Choucas

The Choucas is the second design by Claude Noin and is a tail-less powered glider of composite construction. It is available as a kit built or production aircraft. The Noin Sirius single seat self launching glider was his first design and was powered by an 18hp(13kW) JPX 425. The Sirius had a maximum take-off weight of 480lb (218kg) and was a strut braced high wing monoplane with two non-retractable wheels in tandem. The latest type from the Noin drawing board is the Excel which is a single seat powered glider powered by an 18hp JPX 312 and with a maximum take-off weight of 682lb(310kg). Noin Aeronautiques are based at Tallard in France.
