Norman Aviation of Quebec, Canada provide home-
builders with kits for a number of light two seaters including the J-6
Karatoo, the Nordic 11 which was first flown in 1986 and is similar to
the Karatoo and the Nordic V1 which has increased fuel. The Nordic V11
is a single seat version. They can be flown on skis or floats. The
Karatoo was designed in the United States but Norman Aviation bought the
rights and subsequently developed improved versions. It is believed that
kits for the original Karatoo are no longer available.
