Norman NDN-1T Turbo Firecracker

The Turbo Firecracker was developed from the NDN-1 Firecracker (1 built) which was first flown in 1977 powered by a 260hp(194kW) Lycoming AEIO-540-B4D5. The Firecracker is currently stored but remains potentially airworthy. The three Turbo Firecrackers were modified to take the P&W turboprop and featured changes to the cockpit and fin. They are currently operational as trainers in the United States. Desmond Norman formed NDN Aircraft at Sandown, England in 1976, the company subsequently being renamed The Norman Aero-plane Co. Ltd. (NAC) in 1985.
