The F-86A Sabre was the first production model of the
famous Sabre fighter series and entered service with the USAF in 1949.
Production of this model was completed in December 1950. The F-86A saw
action in Korea from December 1950 acquitting itself well against the
Mig-15. Two are believed to remain airworthy.
