The Sabreliner 60 was a stretched and more powerful version of the Sabreliner 40 and featured 5 cabin windows on each side. 12 examples were built for the US Navy as the CT-39G. The Sabreliner 65 (76 built) was an upgraded version of the Model 60 powered by 2x 3700 lb.s.t.(16.46kN) Garrett TFE731-3-1D and first flown in 1977. It featured a new supercritical wing and interior changes. The Sabreliner 75 (9 built) was a development of the Model 60 with the cabin roof raised 8" to give additional headroom. It first flew in 1969 and has a deeper fuselage and square cabin windows but was superseded on the production line in 1973 by the turbofan powered Model 75A.In 1967 North American merged with the Rockwell Standard Corporation and developments of the Sabreliner are normally designated Rockwell Sabreliner. Around 70 examples of the Model 60 and 70 examples of the Model 65 remain airworthy. A Sabreliner 60 is shown below.
